“The 2892 Ocean Ave Staples location does not have printing services in house, which means you’ll get it about 5 business days from when you place your order online. That’s IF you have the presence of mind to call them to insist that they fulfill the order.
I ordered a rush print job (which was to be a gift, so timing was crucial) online before 12pm. The website stated it would be ready by 5:30pm same day. Staples online store copy indicated I would get a text and email when my order was ready.
None of that happened.
When I called the next day to confirm that my rush order is ready, I was asked if I wanted to cancel it, since it was “on hold”. It was “on hold” specifically because they don’t do printing in house, adding “3-5 business days” to my schedule. Nobody bothered to communicate this by email, text, or phone until I called to ask about my order.Note the absurdity of a business that focuses heavily on online print orders and seeks to foster customer trust and satisfaction, yet does not have any location-specific protocol for communicating with online customers regarding possible issues.”
